It started in Viridian Forest. A mysterious spatial distortion known as "The Everfall" has fractured the Kanto region. The familiar cities and routes have extended infinitely downwards, becoming dangerous, never-ending dungeons.
Professor Oak has recruited you to investigate. The Gym Leaders have taken up posts deep within these distorted zones to prevent the wild Pokémon from overrunning the surface.
