Beneath The Hill is a first-person survival horror game about entering a cave beneath a village to investigate a strange beating heard below. The game focuses on lantern-based exploration, sound-sensitive goblin encounters, simple melee combat, and multiple endings.
People from a small village have started disappearing near the woods beneath an old hill. At night, the villagers hear something below the ground: a slow, distant beating.
When two village hunters vanish and only their wounded dog returns, the tracks lead to a cave beneath the hill. Armed with only a lantern and a blade, the player enters the cave to find what took them and uncover the source of the beating.
