It’s 1988 and things couldn’t be worse. Amsterdam is a city awash in illicit drugs, sex trade, and organized crime. Someone turns up dead every day, usually in the infamous Red Light District, where every vice is for sale. This night is different: The dead body is not just another unidentified stiff doomed to obscurity. He’s a disgraced cop’s last ticket back onto the force.
